More Mega Pixels Does Not Equal A Better Print

It’s a common misconception that the more megapixels a camera has the larger you can print.  Before completely dispelling the myth, it is safe to say that all else being equal that megapixels do matter in terms of how large you can print.  Far more important though is the quality of the camera and more specifically the size of the sensors in the camera.
